Kitiya was born in Riga, Latvia and moved with her family to Toronto at the age of four. She's fluent in both English and Latvian. She began her modeling and acting career as a teenager getting signed at a young age by a major commercial agency and appearing in various print ads, commercials, and music videos.Kitiya went on to graduate university in Toronto with a double major honors degree in Communication Studies and English with a focus on Film and Television. Shortly after graduating, she accepted a job in New York City with a premier, global advertising agency where she helped create national television campaigns for brands like L'Oreal Paris and Aflac. Having gained an in-depth understanding of the broadcast industry from the client and audience perspective, she then relocated to Los Angeles to continue her study of acting with intense focus and determination.Between film, TV, and commercial projects, Kitiya is an enthusiastic foodie and adventure seeker!
