Kit Chester was born in Boston, MA with jet black hair and purple-blue eyes. Every nurse swore she was destined to become an actress with such attributes as Elizabeth Taylor. Born into a math family Kit's parents laughed it off. They stopped laughing when a very young Kit got caught by the acting bug and announced her plans to become a professional actress. Kit began training for this goal in middle school by taking acting, improvisation, film, modern and classical voice and dance classes. Since her schedule was quickly filling up with training and performing Kit's parents granted her wish to home-school. Now she had more time to really get serious! Kit's family moved to Pittsburgh where she finished high school. There she discovered another talent in singing, songwriting and guitar. She has studied with singer/songwriter Jason Deutsch and guitar with Wayne Smith of Hero and the Lie. She is working towards recording her work with their help (between acting jobs!) Film is Kits's first love. She played the role of Sandy the young mother waitress in the award winning Christian film Careful What You Wish For by director Tim Vogel of Lancer Entertainment. Showing her many sides Kit's next role was in a post apocalyptic film by Michael Snyder of Wicked Redemption Studios. She played Kayla a kidnapped victim. Kit has had the pleasure of working with many talented directors and even had an opportunity to read for Tony Scott after he saw a tape of her. According to Kit she was so honored to be able to audition for such a great director. "It was an amazing experience and he was really nice!" Along with the awards for Careful What You Wish For, Kit has won many acting and modeling awards. At Models of the South 2011 Kit won the coveted overall Monologue Award for all participants along with first place for Commercial of the 18-20 age group. At the same convention she won 3rd place for Photogenic of the 18-20 age group. She was the April 2010 modeling winner for Get Your Pants On, an inspirational t-shirt company. While performing in Les Miserables in 9th grade Kit met her agent Beverly Brock of the Brock Agency and has been represented by her ever since. Kit has lived all around the world (literally) including New Jersey, Philadelphia, North Carolina, Singapore and the Philippines. Her love of Pittsburgh has made her refer to it as her true home and she has become a huge black and gold sports enthusiast. Kit has signed with Al Hill of Epiphany Management and is relocating to Los Angeles, CA with her long haired chihuahua Thor. Show less «
