Kendall was born in Los Angeles. She began in dance at the age of four and was performing in school plays by the first grade. At the age of seven, she was asked to participate in a student film and by the time it wrapped, she had been bitten by the acting bug. At age eight, she was cast in a PSA and retained an agent. She booked a national commercial on one of her first big auditions. She plays the piano, ukulele and violin. She also sings and loves theatre and live performance.
