Ken Rice is a television news anchor at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, PA. Originally a Chicago-area native, Ken attended the School of Journalism at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. In college, he reported and anchored news on Wisconsin Public Radio. After college, he was on-air talent at Madison's WISC-TV. Since moving to Pittsburgh, he has spent fourteen years anchoring local newscasts. He has won journalism awards from the Associated Press, the Radio-Television News Directors Association and the Pittsburgh-based Golden Quills. Additionally, Ken serves on the boards of the American Red Cross and the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and is Honorary Chair for the annual MS Walk in Pittsburgh. He also sits on the advisory boards of the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council and the volunteer service organization Pittsburgh Cares. He and his wife, Lauren, have a daughter and a son.
