Kelly Gilmore is completing her MFA in Film and Television at SCAD-Atlanta. Kelly loves writing and directing her work. She has done about 20 short films and constantly looks for more shoots to complete more work and grow in the film world. Her main focus is camera work, doing film and photography herself. Kelly loves coming up with new concepts to translate, write, and shoot. She loves collaborating with fellow filmmakers to create stories that people might like or even love. It's very important that she delivers her films through the Vimeo platform and viewers may email her in order to watch and gain access as it is shoved into festivals. Kelly tries to write something new every week so writing is a second language and comes second nature to her. She has been doing film and photography since middle school and hasn't stopped yet. She continues to shoot short films with peers or friends, work on music videos for local bands, and likes to have everything, including legal work, completely done in order to shoot with more protection from the legal world. She constantly looks for great locations to shoot in, making time lapse b-roll while driving or using a tripod for great static shots. She has new time lapses almost every week to try and stay active while there isn't a big shoot going on. You could say, picking up different kinds of time lapse for future projects. She looks at every new day, wide eyed, and ready to go. Her film work helps her grow and become an even better filmmaker with every new video she shoots and edits down. She is hungry for the industry and work and won't let anything get in her way without a written legal documentation.Be smart and film in control.
