Kelli developed a love of the movie industry when she saw Star Wars. She wanted to work in production, specifically as a camera operator, but talent agents encourage her to work in front of the camera. Kelli started appearing in commercials and television, including Simon and Simon, Amazing Stories, Private Eye, and a CBS Movie of the Week The Cowboy and the Ballerina, and more recent films include Q For Death/Seat of Justice, The Southern Question, Mae, and an online TV series, We're Not Friends.
