Keith was born in Central Square, New York to a working class family. He graduated in 1982 from Paul V Moore High, Central Square, New York where he led the wrestling team to many victories. Keith later graduated from St Lawrence University in 1987, where he was also was on the wresting team. Since then, Keith has gone on to small acting in Broadway and off-Broadway shows such as "Grand Hotel", "Jekyll and Hyde" as well as "Noises Off".
