Born in Jamshedpur, Kaushik is the son of an Army man who served as a Commander in Indian Army.He has been Acting since the age of 5 when he was in Standard 1 in Loyola School.Right from Class 1 to every School and College that he ever went to, he always participated in the extra curricular activities...Be it school plays, Dance Dramas, Singing, Elocution, Fashion Parades, Inter-school Drama competition, Inter-school Sports and in each he made his schools win the final championships.He was always the inevitable choice of his coaches as the football, volleyball or cricket captain.Kaushik is a science student and did his Graduation in Quantum Physics from Fergusson College.But his heart was in films. So instead of doing C++ he would rather attend film festivals around the city.He received a strong Acting training from Film. and Television Institute of India. But he also wanted behind the camera training and thus he did a Masters in film making and Photography from Symbiosis.His first job was as a Reporter with Times of India.Journalism got him a job in various Media houses and they soon started appreciating his story telling skills. Be it writing or Directing News Capsules.Then he decided to start on his own. And since he was good in Photography, he started his own company. Soon he started winning awards and was declared the best photographer of India by Canon and was sent to Japan for a special training for a Month. There he was declared the best photographer among all South Asian countriesOn his return he started a Photography workshop series called BREAKING RULES. Conducted wildlife photography workshops in various Jungles of India.His commercial projects had the biggest names in the industry like Reliance, Birla and so on.He was also a special photographer to Prime Minister Modi and got written about in various articles by top notch Journalists.Then he decided to get into Acting as well.
