Katrin Vankova is an actress born in Bulgaria and grown up in Barcelona where she moved when she was a kid. Her professional acting career began at the age of 18 and she has been working in both audiovisual and theatre fields. Her last project is "Justice", a play performed at the big room at the National Theatre in Barcelona. She has also been filming for the new upcoming "Alex Rider" series produced by Sony. She has been participated in different Spanish series like "La fossa", "Com si fos ahir", "Nit i dia" and as well as the international "Snatch". Katrin Vankova also leads the film "This is the wind" , a movie based on a true story about two girls with eating disorder, among the actors Alex Brendemühl, Laia Manzanares and Anna Alarcón. The movie participated at the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn. Her acting career also includes her performances in different independent short films and music videos like the last "Tota Pulchra" for Tarta Relena directed by the Goya award winning Irene Moray. Katrin Vankova was selected as the only Spanish actress for the Berlinale Talents Programm 2019 and received the Blood Red Carpet award as a promising actress at Sitges Film Festival 2018.
