Raised in Anchorage, Katie moved to the "Lower 48" in 2002. Katie trained in stunt work at the International Stunt School in Seattle.Additionally, she competed as an elite athlete and earned a spot on the USA Freestyle Ski Team in freestyle aerials, becoming one of the top-ranked female aerialists in the country.Katie completed a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in chemistry, and is now working towards a bioengineering doctorate.
