Katie Powell is a musician and actress from Glasgow, Scotland. Her work mainly consists of theatre production but has moved onto on screen performances. Initially beginning acting in SCDA competitions, Katie moved from small parts in local productions into main roles in plays across the country; later, directing and acting in various music videos, Katie found her way onto screen and soon found herself a leading cast member on successful short film, 'Meaningless'. 'Meaningless' has been screened at multiple film festivals in Mexico, Australia and at Cannes. Katie's original music and covers began on YouTube and are close to becoming fully released works.
