Katherine Gauthier was born in Kingston, Ontario and raised in Ottawa, Kingston and Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. She caught the acting bug at a very young age after being cast as a talking television named Sophie in a play at the age of 7. She studied her craft at the Central School of Speech and Drama and in the theatre concentration at l'École Secondaire Publique De La Salle. She continued her studies at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.A graduate of the critically acclaimed Soulpepper Theatre Academy in Toronto, Katherine has performed in theaters throughout Canada, playing roles in "Macbeth", "The Just", "Marat-Sade", "You Still Can't Take it With You", "Tough", "Matt and Ben", "Children's Hour", "King Lear", "Godspell", "100 Saints You Should Know" and many others, including "Tartuffe" directed by Hungarian master director Laszlo Marton.In 2016, Katherine played the part of Nora in Daniel Brooks' critically-lauded production of "A Doll's House" for which she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor.
