Katharine Jane Reid was raised in Oakville, Ontario in a home where Hollywood and the silver screen were the family religion. From infancy, Kat wanted to act. She appeared on the children's television show, Camp Cariboo on and off for three seasons, between the ages of nine and twelve. Her theatre debut was at the age of 17 at The Oakville Centre for Performing Arts where she portrayed Mayella Ewell in Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. While studying Biological Research Technology at Seneca College, Kat set her sights on the film industry. She acted in several independent films, including the sick & twisted production P.O.V (2001). Currently, Kat resides in Oakville, and researches cancer therapies using monoclonal antibody technology between films. She's not just another pretty face.
