Kathrina Moehlman was born in a small village in Cebu, Philippines. At the age of one, she came to live in Canada where she was raised in Nanaimo, British Columbia, with her mother and German stepfather. Her studies were science and math focused due to her parents' influences. Her real passion for acting came out during grade eight drama class and only strengthened when she was cast as the Mother in the Sorcerer's Apprentice playwright.In 2005, she attended a talent search in Las Vegas, where she acquired a scholarship to attend The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Due to unstable finances, and overall bad timing, she continued with her academic studies at Vancouver Island University, where she completed the Administrative Assistant program. However, she only felt regret for not taking the scholarship in New York, and therefore decided to make a change. In 2009, she made a bold move, and went to Vancouver to act. After completing her acting studies at New Image College of Fine Arts, she had to temporarily move back to Nanaimo due to family issues but has returned to Vancouver to follow her dreams. Show less «
