Karyn Halpin was born on February 2, 1989 in Duncan, British Columbia, into a large family with 8 siblings. Her ancestry is Scottish, English and Portuguese. Karyn started acting in her elementary school theatre program and continued her theater training throughout her high school education in productions of Chicago and Red, Hot and Cole. After graduating Karyn moved to Hollywood North, Vancouver Canada and attended the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts. Karyns Credits include "Kid Cannabis", "The Movie Out Here" and "Fantasy Guise", a story about a young woman with a passion for LARPing which won the Broadcast Educators Association of Canada for Best Comedy Long.
