Karlisha Hurley is a US award-winning LA Based Australian actress. She is in the upcoming second series of 'Into the Dark' on Hulu, is in the PureFlix series 'The Encounter', the Crypt TV series 'Fight Night', has the lead role in the feature film 'Wrapped', was in the Lifetime film 'Nightmare Tenant', has a starring role in the series 'How to Identify a Serial Killer' and is co-host of the series #Me4TV, a next-generation talk show. She won Best Actress in an Indie Film at the Actors Awards, Best Actress at the Gold Movie Awards (April), Best Actress in a Drama at the Best Actor Award, Best Actor (female) at the Crown Wood International Film Festival and many other awards for her lead role in 'Bet the Demon Wins'. She also won Best Actor Under 18 at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and the Hollywood Moving Picture Film Festival, and Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Accolade Global Film Competition for her lead roles in 'Karlisha and Morgan'. Karlisha also gained recognition for her co-lead role in the international award-winning short film 'Hello Tom Sullivan'. Karlisha was a judge at the Artemis Women in Action Film festival and at the Port Stephens International Film Festival. She also co-hosted at Australia's largest live national talent competition 'Fast Track' and has trained and performed on stage in musical theatre, dance, singing and acrobatics as well as performed live at Second City in Los Angeles. Karlisha has had many years of acting training both in the US and Australia and she continues to train in LA. Along with acting, she has experience working on film sets as a production assistant on the feature film The Lucifer Killings and the TV pilot Sunshine Backpackers; she co-wrote and starred in 'Bet the Demon Wins', was Producer of the short film, 'The Birthday Party' and won a national schools 3in6 Film Award for making a short film.
