British Actor/Model Karl Hughes was Born on the 25th Of February 1995 in Liverpool, England. As a child Karl used to watch films and mimic the actors on screen as well as dressing up in costumes mirroring his on screen idols. His family took notice especially his Grandfather Robert Cooper Sr who was a drummer in the band 'Black Knights' who played in the world famous 'Cavern Club' alongside The Beatles.His grandfather later on in life decided to get back on the stage but this time as an Actor and appeared in numerous famous plays, he was a big inspiration for Karl. Robert Cooper Sr then went on to introduce his grandson Karl to the theatre world and helped him make his theatre debut with Cinderella in 2002 at the tender age of 6. Since then Karl Hughes has appeared in over 40 plays around the country, including Oliver Twist, The King & I, Oklahoma, The Wizard of Oz just to name a few.Karl realised as he got older he could take up Acting as a full time career so he joined Y.U.L.A where he went on to do more stage Productions as well as winning Awards for his Acting. He won numerous medals each year at The Liverpool Performing Arts Festival Including the GOLD medal for 'Best Actor' in 2009. His Drama teachers pushed Karl towards the 'National Youth Theatre' which Karl auditioned for at the age of 14 and completed a course in London at the age of 15. Karl also completed BTEC course in Acting at Liverpool Community College, and has also won a Laurence Olivier Award for his acting in the show Five Elements.Karl's experience caught the attention of local Film Makers and he got cast in a few feature films Small Creatures, My Blue Heaven, To Look and Not See. After finishing High School and college as well as passing his LAMDA examinations he went on to chase his career, appearing in numerous magazines, commercials, TV shows and short films.Social Media became the key to success for many Global artists, noticing this Karl decided to join in on the hype of Social Media with aims to show the world his talent. He went on to create videos of his own on Keek, Vine, not knowing that they would reach over 1 million views. He has built his very own army of fans with over 270,000 followers on Twitter. Where he is fully aware of the trappings of social media, Karl is using it to raise his profile as a successful actor and using it to help others along with supporting charities.In 2013 Karl launched his first calendar and merchandise brand, all stock was sold out with in 3 weeks and he continues to surprise his fans with a personal delivery or a hand written cards, ensuring that his loyal fan base feel special.Since his increase in popularity he has been able to participate in Celebrity events helping raise money for charity, he has individually helped raise over £130,000 for numerous charity's. Whenever Karl can he dedicates his time to the things close to his heart, raising money for charity and his fans.Coming from a less privileged background Karl understands how hard life can be, which is why he dedicates his time to help those less fortunate. He was approached by 'Hoopsaid' the World's biggest Celebrity Basketball in hope to raise awareness and cash for Disabled and disadvantaged children via the charity Sports Traider.Lots of things on the horizon for Karl, he is currently doing the audition circuit and has secured roles in Three Short Films.
