Kara Kimmer was born in Durand, Michigan studying dance and classical singing at the Flint Institute of Music. Her training in foreign language led her to compete with arias at a young age, booking her first professional gig in the Broadway Tour of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat" at 13yrs old. Kimmer graduated from Oakland University with a BA in Music Theatre Dance where she split her time working as an NBA Detroit Pistons Cheerleader and as a singer in the Detroit Opera's "Pirates of Penzance". She then moved to New York City landing a role in "A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum" placing her as a member of AEA. She continued to work with Tony award director Darko Tresnjak in "Carnival" as well as a featured vocalist with Marvin Hamlisch at The Library of Congress. Kara headed to the Hollywood South for it's booming film industry and earned her SAG membership in "2 Guns" with stunt coordinator Darrin Prescott. She continues to work in stunts with Monty Simons on "The Walking Dead." Show less «
