Originally from Toronto Canada, Kara Duncan has trained and performed in the industry since the age of 4. Her passion for performing has allowed her to be recognized and respected for her stage, dance and acting abilities. Her dance genre includes exceptional skills in Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatics, Tap, Modern and Contemporary styles. In her early years Kara was already a blooming artist booking countless appearances on major Canadian networks. Appearing in various commercials as a teen, her first big break came when she booked the role of Claire on the popular show System Crash, airing on the Canadian network YTV. Shortly after, she booked Bravo Network's "All I Wanna Do is Have Fun", New Line Cinema's "Take the Lead", promotional print campaigns, music videos and National Commercials such as Honda Canada, Virgin Mobile, Playtex to name a few. After completing her R.A.D Advanced II exam, Kara pursued her post secondary education at Ryerson University majoring in Theatre Dance and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts. There she was fortunate enough to work with acclaimed choreographers and teachers to further enhance her technical skills to the highest level. Upon graduation Kara was casted as a host for an on-line kids show called "Philanthrokidz" as well as the spokes model for Yaz Contraceptive commercials. She has also appeared in countless Music Videos, Commercials and was seen in many episodes of Slice Network/E1 Entertainment's "Party Mamas". She was also hand picked and had the honor of meeting and performing for Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. Kara was on the international tour of West Side Story where she played Francisca a Shark girl. The tour traveled to Europe and Asia. Upon the completion of Tour, Kara performed in the show "Rave on" in Niagara falls, and also performed alongside Alan Thicke at the Shaw Media Festival. Kara also filmed the series finale of Warehouse 13 where she played a "Crazy Chorus Girl". This aired on the SYFY network. She wrapped with the feature film "Full Out". Most recently you can catch her on the Almost Game Time NFL Commercial. Kara is now residing in Los Angeles.
