Kadèr Gürbüz (°1969) is a Belgian actress with Turkish roots.Kadèr graduated in 1993 from the Ghent Conservatory, with a major in drama.She started her professional career performing in theatre for youth and at the Flanders Royal Ballet, where she played Anne Frank in the play Je Anne by Frank Van Laecke. Over the years she's performed with many theatre companies in Belgium and in 2005 she started her own company, Het Ongerijmde. The group brings classical plays, such as Le Médecin malgré by Molière, in contemporary adaptations.Kadèr Gürbüz is also a well-known television actress. She stars as Birgit in all 5 seasons of the teen comedy-drama W817 and was one of the main actresses in the drama-series Jes by Nathalie Basteyns and Kaat Beels. She played important roles in the police-series Flikken, the popular soap Familie and the mini-series De Vijfhoek and appeared in lots of Belgian tv-series such as Witse, Aspe, FC De Kampioenen, Spoed, Gilliams & de Bie, Zone Stad, Mega Mindy, Thuis, Code 37, Binnenstebuiten, Vermist,...In 2014 Kadèr played a small part in the European series The Team, starring Lars Mikkelsen and Veerle Baetens.She's also hosted several shows on regional and national television.Off screen Kadèr often works as a voice actor. She's dubbed a lot of animation series and movies.
