Justin Chatwin is an actor, known for playing Tom Cruise's character's son in War of the Worlds (2005). Successfully starred in his first American miniseries, Traffic (2004), followed by the movies Taking Lives (2004), The Invisible (2007), and The Chumscrubber (2005). He also had appearances in the episodic series Smallville (2001) , Lost (2004), and Weeds (2005).Justin was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, to Suzanne, an artist and documentary filmmaker, and Brian Chatwin, an engineer. Justin has two sisters, Brieanne and Claire. His hobbies are camping and sports, and listening to Arcade Fire. He was once an avid snowboarder and was living in Vancouver to practice and attend university.
