Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Julie's blossoming acting career stemmed from playing the lead in her fourth grade Christmas production. Such success was followed by two "walk-on" roles during high school in "A Fiddler on the Roof" and "Guys and Dolls."In college, she received a theatre scholarship and was seen on the Indiana University Southeast stage in a number of shows, including: Meg, "Crimes of the Heart;" Catherine, "Proof;" Beverly, "The Shadowbox;" Sarah, "Company;" and Mary, "Vanities."Louisville and Southern Indiana theatre credits include: Vanessa, "Dirty Sexy Derby Play," with Louisville Repertory Company; Various Caracters, "Ten-Tucky Festival of Ten Minute Plays," with Bard's Town Theatre; Catherine, "Proof," with LRC; Kari Ames-Bissette, "Always a Bridesmaid," with Eve Theatre Company; Jeannine Pratt, "Ordinary People," with St. Marks on Spring; and Val, "Murder on the Hill," with Renegade Art Productions.Her role as Max in "Girl Number Three" with Renegade Art Productions marked her first feature-length film. She has since then worked with RAP as Jessica in "A Wish for the Dead;" with Verite Cinema as The Woman in "Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories" and as Stephanie in "My Horror Project;" with Ghost Age Films, LLC as Joan in "Maxwell Edison;" and also with Righteous Insanity on "Fluffy 1947" and "Will Work for Love."She ultimately plans to utilize her life experiences and expanding wisdom to help make the world a better place, all while pursuing her passion of story-telling through theatre and film.
