Julie was raised in Lake Elmo, a small farming community in the heart of Minnesota. She grew up professionally competing in "Games": a division of Rodeo, raising buffalo, and picking sweet corn from the fields of her backyard. As a youngster she performed in numerous talent shows alone, as well as with her siblings. She never lost the love of performing and in January of 2000, made the big leap to move to Los Angeles, CA to make a career out of it. Julie has always believed that if you have a passion for a particular line of work, and it makes you feel energized and happy, keep on doing it. That she has. Julie's resume includes leads in 4 pilots, several independent films, countless theatre productions, and a handful of commercials. Her most recent endeavors include a lead in "Medal of Valor", a pilot that premiered at The Short Film Corner of Cannes Film Festival, as well as Dove's Real Women campaign introducing Dove Visibly Smooth Anti-Perspirant. She is excited to begin filming her upcoming feature film "Alien War: The Last Man". When Julie is not busy filming, you will likely find her out exploring the 52 miles of riding trails through Griffith Park with her quarter horse mare, Cally, as well as down time hobbies: distance running, mountain biking, or vegging out with her teacup poodle, Kip.
