Julie was born in Philadelphia, where she began acting class at the age of five. A highlight of her early years was her performance at 'Robin Hood Dell', where she played the talkative caboose in a Captain Kangaroo show. She was also the lead in 'Kid West' at age six, a film where she actually wielded an (unloaded) gun! At 13, her family moved from Philly to Great Neck, NY, a place where they actually have a body of water named, 'Lake Success'. After trying college in upstate NY, Julie moved to NYC, where she joined Manhattan Theatre Club and appeared in many of their productions while studying with Alice Spivak, Herbert Berghof, and Uta Hagen at HB Studios, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. An accomplished performer with stage, television and film credits, Julie also voices regional, national and international commercials, narrations and video games and has worked as a singer in Manhattan, with both live performance and recording credits. Her favorite gig? Dressed in a paper suit singing back-up with Klaus Nomi. A versatile actress, Julie has played a governor or two, awful or suffering wives, helicopter mothers and an occasional witch. She has worked with award winning director, Arthur Allan Seidelman among others. 'Listen', 'Rockabilly Zombie Weekend', 'Catching Hearts', and soon 'Scarlet's Witch' and 'The Hum' are available on DVD. Julie now resides in Atlanta, and loves her new city.
