Julian Rademeyer is an award-winning investigative journalist and author of the book 'Killing for Profit - Exposing the Illegal Rhino Horn Trade'. Born in South Africa, he began his career as a journalist in 1993. His writing has appeared in many leading South African and international publications. He was a founding editor and contributing editor of the political fact-checking and news website, Africa Check. He has also worked as an analyst for the Geneva-based NGO, The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organised Crime.His work on rhino poaching and wildlife crime has been featured on CNN, BBC, ABC, Al Jazeera, PBS and Sky News and in a number of international documentaries including Tom Hardy's Poaching Wars, ABC Nightline's Black Market Ivory, ZDF's Ausverkauf der Menschenaffen, eNews Channel Africa's Busting the illegal rhino horn trade and Fox Crime's Rhino Wars.
