Burroughs had one son, William S. Burroughs Jr., who was also a writer.)Dungan also took the name Julian Burroughs as he was an Army deserter who appeared as an anti-war activist in "The Nude Restaurant." After nine months of military training, Dungan had gone Absent Without leave (AWOL) in June 1967.Under his real name, he appeared in the feature film "Goodbye Pork Pie" (1981) and in the television mini-series "The Harp in the South" (1987).
