Joshua Johnson is proving to be a truly versatile up-and-coming talent. Bringing his skills to the big screen as a member of the fresh squad in the drama "White Boy Rick" (2018). Starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Jason Leigh, and then also making his appearance in short films such as the stroll, where he portrayed a troubled teen growing up in a rough neighborhood. Joshua Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 31, 1997. He lived in one of most dangerous neighborhoods in Detroit. He was raised by his mother, grew up with two other siblings. In high school Joshua was a very bright and outgoing student, he liked to tell stories and jokes to his fellow classmates as much as he could, more than he like to do his schoolwork. One of his teachers noticed Joshua's popular personality and how likable he was, encouraged him to put his talents and characteristics to use by joining the school plays, performances. He was also active on the schools basketball team were he showed off his amazing skills and basketball IQ on the court as well. He soon found a love and passion for the craft of acting. The next couple of months Joshua began studying acting and even taking courses to improve his acting skills.He most recently started taking classes with the studios at Michigan, there he learned the does and the don'ts in the industry. He also learned how to properly audition for commercials, monologues and audition. Where after a couple of months of working on his Craft. He was offered to be a part of his first major movie production "white boy Rick". Over the next couple of months, Joshua receive recognition for his performances and skills. He would eventually be offered representation by two agents. He is currently attending Wayne State University where he has decided to pursue a BFA in acting, after finishing grad school Joshua is looking forward to moving to a new state such as New York, California or Atlanta to pursue and work on his craft of acting, continue to build up his knowledge and skills, to work in the next big stage of his career in the entertainment business.
