Josh Taylor was born on 6th July, 1989 in Taunton, Somerset. After finishing his A levels he left school and joined The Faction theatre company which had recently been founded. He performed in a number of plays with them most notably "Richard III", "Macbeth" and "The Robbers". He then studied at LAMDA on the 1 year foundation course. After leaving he re joined The Faction and performed in a number of touring shows to the Theatre Royal, Bath and around London.In 2012 - 2014 he starred in a number of plays at The White Bear Theatre in Kennington. In 2015 he performed as Sandy in Doris Lessing's "Each His Own Wilderness" at The Orange Tree theatre directed by Paul Miller.During the past few year he has appeared in "Testament of Youth" the WW1 biopic of Vera Brittan and The Bad Education movie. In 2015 he was cast as Johnny Dalkeith in the UK Netflix original series "The Crown" directed by Stephen Daldry.
