Josh Skinner was born in San Dimas, California and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. His career in show business began when he was eleven years old and was hired to host a children's radio show. Josh moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to work for Walt Disney Entertainment Productions. While earning a B.A. in Radio, Television, and Film from Biola University, Josh performed at Disneyland and the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Some of his hosting appearances include Ellen's Design Challenge (HGTV), Good Morning 90210 (FilmOn), Live Like a Star with Ryan Seacrest (Fox) and Hot Video Countdown (CW). He produced and costarred in the short film Rules of the Game with Oscar nominee Bruce Davison, and played a supporting role in the feature film Confession starring Chris Pine. He recently wrapped the feature film Do Over with Drew Seeley, Amy Paffrath and Jonathan Bennett.As a lyricist, Josh's work has appeared on Swedish pop star Sara Lumholdt's (A*Teens) first solo album and Spanish actress/singer Alessandra Rosaldo's English crossover debut. "Por Tu Amor" and "Eres" were used in Rosaldo's international hit telenovela Ni contigo ni sin ti (115 episodes) and as the theme of her televised wedding to Spanish actor Eugenio Derbez in Mexico City (July 2012). Josh has also written with Disney's R5 (Hollywood Records), Jeff Timmons (98 Degrees), Kimberley Locke, Dave Koz and Jason Evigan. He co-wrote Sir Ivan's dance hit, "La La Land," which peaked at #27 on the Billboard Dance Club Chart in the U.S and spent 9 weeks on the Billboard charts. "La La Land" also reached #10 on the UK Music Week's Upfront Club Chart and Top 20 on the DJ Times National Crossover Pool Chart. Show less «
