Josey Smith was born on May 10, 2006 in New Mexico. She is an actress, model, and aspiring singer who is known for her role as "Becky" in AMC's adventure, drama fantasy TV series, "Preacher" (2016). Josey caught the acting bug after she landed a featured background role as a biker's granddaughter in Why Not Productions' Blood Father, an action crime drama movie starring Mel Gibson (2014). Shortly after, Josey secured a featured background role in Independence Day: Resurgence, Twentieth Century Fox's action-adventure, sci-fi that grossed over $373 million worldwide (2016).Two TV commercials for Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico and Homewood Suites quickly followed before Josey played two principal roles in movies that will release in 2017 and 2018. She has modeled for Albuquerque, the Magazine (2015), Presbyterian Health Services (2015), and Dillards (2017).
