Josephine Mitchell grew up in Sydney Australia. Both her parents were involved with the Ensemble Theatre in Milson's Point. She started modeling in the early eighties which led to a role on Australia's favorite drama of the time, A Country Practice. She started her own theatre company that worked out of the prestigious Sydney Theatre Company at Wharf 2. She has worked on many of Australis's top dramas but her first love is theatre. Her last theatre performance was in 2005, doing the gripping Australian piece, Holy Day, by Australian playwright Andrew Bovell. She has recently completed three months work on Home and Away, playing an alcoholic woman who wrecks havoc in her son's life. Show less «
