His acting career began after responding to an open casting call for a faith based TV pilot. He showed up and performed a cold read for the director and producer, then two days later received a call asking him to be part of the project. After that he was bit by the acting bug and immediately began learning all he could about the business, including taking acting classes from Danny Vinson.
