Joseph Frangie is an Australian born Actor from the western suburbs of Sydney.He attended the 'Australian International Performing Arts High School' in 2009 and 2010 which secured him his first role on the Disney Channel.After AIPAH he continued his studies at 'The Actors Pulse', specialising in the 'Meisner' technique.In 2014 he was accepted into 'New York Film Academy' - Sydney Campus. Here he received priceless training from many great teachers such as award winning Actress, Clara Voda. Simultaneously continuing his exploration of the Meisner technique with the innovative mind of Hunter McMahon. He received on set experience with award winning directors, Serhat Caradee and Samantha Lang. Finishing up his year securing over Twenty student short film roles.He landed the lead role on his first feature length film 'Roommates' in 2015.Later that year he made the leap to North America to further pursue his Acting career in Vancouver, Canada. Taking part in various indie productions such as the animated series 'Gator Greg' and gained an exponential amount of on set experience through his recurring role in the LA produced TV show 'Life Sentence'.Wrapping up his two and a half year stay with his supporting role In the feature length film 'myPhone' before arriving back in Australia, March 2018.Within months of arriving back into Australia, he began studying extensively with Maha Wilson at the 'Scene on Screen'.Later that year reconnecting with Hunter McMahon who has since founded 'Redfern Acting Studio' which is known today as 'Sydney Acting Studio'. Securing the opening role for 'The Eight Reindeer Monologues' directed by Travis McMahon and produced by Hunter McMahon.He furthered his studies over the years at SAS with incredible teachers such as the great and powerful Kevin Jackson, commercial king Adam Dunn, and his long time friend and Mentor, AFI Award Winner; Luke Ford.Joseph Frangie is still personally coached by Luke Ford and is still actively studying at the Sydney Acting Studio.
