Joseph Angelette is an actor and musician from New Orleans. He is a senior (class of 2017) at NOCCA studying Drama. He is member of the Holy Cross Men's Honor Ensemble Chorus and the New Orleans Children's Chorus Youth Chorale. His acting coaches include Ann Mahoney, Gary Grubbs, James Dumont, Kate Adair, Ryan Glorioso and Candi Brooks. From the age of 2 until 10, he studied dance with Giacobbe Academy of Dance, and performed annually in the Delta Festival Ballet Company's Nutcracker. In elementary school, Joseph was in the Jefferson Parish Public School System Gifted and Talented Program for Theater and performed with the University of New Orleans Lakefront Youth Theater Experience. Joseph has performed in plays with his school, local Catholic girl schools and Southern Rep Theater. Joseph was accepted into the Gavin Mahlie "All Things Shakespeare Program" with the New Orleans Shakespeare Festival at Tulane University for the past two years.Joseph has lettered in wrestling and academics. Joseph is a self-taught musician who plays guitar, ukulele, harmonica and some piano, and aspires to learn several other instruments.Joseph's first film was Ender's Game (2013).
