Jordanne Calvin was born on August 18, 1992 to Jeffrey and Kimberlyann Calvin in Columbus, Ohio. She has an older sister, Jenna, and an identical twin sister, Jerrica. Jordanne found her true passion of singing, acting, and modeling at an early age in junior high. Studying the art of gymnastics since she was eleven under 1996 Olympic head coach Mary Lee Tracy of Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy, gave Jordanne the ability to be in front of large crowds while performing floor exercise, which gave her her true passion of acting. Calvin attended Lakota West High School and was a part of the theatre program from 2008 - 2011 where she played roles in various school plays studying improvisation, running lines, scene work, and movement acting. In 2011 Jordanne was a contract model for New View Management Group where her promotional modeling opportunities included print, television, voice and runway with a specialty in scene study, improvisation, and commercial work and in 2013 she terminated her contract with New View Management Group in order to move to Nashville, TN and attend school at Belmont University.Calvin attended Belmont University from 2012 - 2015, double majoring in Music Business and Audio Engineering and graduating May of 2015 with an outstanding achievement award. During her stay at Belmont University Jordanne recorded alongside pop recording/mixing engineer Joe Baldridge (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban), mixing engineer Mike Poston (Chet Atkins), and recording engineer/producer Ed Seay. Jordanne had the ability to record fellow classmates and musician's first full length EP (Dustin Miller: The Beginnings) at some of the top recording studios in the country: RCA Victor Studio B (Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Chet Atkins), Quonset Hut Recording Studios (Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Charlie Daniels Band) and OceanWay Studios Nashville (Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Jack White). While majoring in audio engineering Jordanne had the opportunity to study mixing for film and was the ADR radio personnel and Foley Artist for a re-creation of the Bourne Identity (2014).Nashville, TN is where Jordanne was able to get into extra work to start her acting career and appeared as a cheerleader for an untitled pilot project, in two episodes of the TV show Nashville, and as a stair runner for District 13 for The Hunger Games: MockingJay - Part 1 (2014). She had her first supporting role as head cheerleader in The Girl From Here Trailer (2014) for the Sundance Film Festival.While at Belmont Calvin completed four internship's: Reba McEntires' recording studio, Starstruck in Nashville, TN, House of Hassle Music Publishing in New York, NY, Bank Robber Music, a record label in New York, NY and booking for an independent artist, Ashlee K Thomas Music in Nashville, TN. While staying for the semester in New York interning, Jordanne had the opportunity to be a brand ambassador for a community outreach program in New York (2014), for 50 shades of Sexy (2014), and for One Piece Social Currency (2014). She attended a concert by Magic! that was featured on Good Morning America, and was a model in the online video Perlocate (2014). Lastly, Calvin appeared in the music video Old School Music Remix (2014) for an independent artist, and modeled for Zinniasyl.com's (2014) online clothing website.During her last year at Belmont University Jordanne was able to model in the music videos "Break up with Him" by Old Dominion (2015), and "Silent City" by Jeff Dane (2015), and appear in the posters for Mapco (2016), Fitness Gymnasium (2015), Bicentennial State Mall Park (2015), and in the online magazine American Shooting Journal (2015).Since graduating from Belmont University in 2015, Calvin filmed a commercial with Brad Paisley for Kingsford Charcoal airing in Walmart stores and was the brand ambassador for Springer Mountain Farms based out of Nashville, TN (2015). Jordanne took the supporting roles in Fearsville (2015) and Gala (2015), and will appear in the upcoming films Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (2016), Barbershop 3 (2016), and The Divergent Series: Allegiant (2016). Jordanne will also appear in the television game show Separation Anxiety (2016), the television series "Nashville" (2016), and Netflix's "Master of None" (2016).Currently, Jordanne is under contract at Wings Model Management in Cincinnati, Ohio where she accepts print, television, billboards, point of purchase, catalog, stage, screen, radio, and voice-overs, and has representation locally in Tennessee from Tribe Talent Management.Calvin's favorite sports include snowboarding, tumbling, 4 wheeling, go-karting, and football. Calvin's favorite musician's include Nickelback, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, and Taylor Swift. Calvin's favorite actors/actresses include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Seth Rogan, Robert Downey Jr., Emma Watson, Liam Neeson, Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, and Chevy Chase.
