Dr. Jordan Carlton Schaul was born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, on November 7, 1973. He resides in Los Angeles.Schaul began writing for National Geographic digital editions as a science and nature contributor while General Curator at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center and courtesy professor at the University of Alaska. He has shared the work of colleagues as well as updates on his own field studies and wildlife conservation efforts in Alaska, Central America, Central Asia and Southern and East Africa.From Mongabay, National Geographic, The Dodo, Huff Post, and with citations in the likes of Scientific American, Schaul has published pop science articles on a range of animal welfare and environmental topics. His interviews with celebrity animal activists and conservation-minded public figures, including Hugh Hefner, Linda Thompson, Eric Roberts and others conferred more opportunities to share the philanthropic work and activism of many other Hollywood insiders and influencers.Today, Schaul represents entertainment and news industry professionals on behalf of his reputation management and publicity firm Schaul PR (Bicoastal Reputation Management - Celebripedia). He curates the web presence and digital branding of notable c-suite corporate and nonprofit executives in addition to celebrity influencers and notable public servants and officials.
