[on why women rarely occupy the top echelon in the corporate world] If you want to occupy the C-suite or the top 1% in any organization, you have to be excessively devoted to your career at the expense of everything else. And women look at that and they think, No. It's the men who are willing to be obsessive about their careers and work 80 hours a week nonstop and hyperefficiently. The hyperproductivity of a minority characterizes every domain where's there's creative production. And almost all of the hyperproductive people are men.

Part of the core information that I've been purveying is that Identity Politics is a sick game. The left plays it on behalf of the oppressed, let's say, and the right plays it on behalf of nationalism and ethnic pride. I think they're equally dangerous. The correct game, as far as I'm concerned, is one where you focus on your individual life and try to take responsibility for your actions.

[on the LBGTQI movement] It's very well organized and had a tremendous amount of political and sociological success in the last three decades. But now [2018] it's an activist bureaucracy with nowhere left to go. It's not going to just voluntarily dismantle itself. So now humanities departments at universities have become part of that activist bureaucracy. They have become completely dominated by radical leftists. It's

Carl Jung said People don't have Ideas, Ideas have People.

Parents tend to be older now, having fewer children, so that contributes to that hothouse environment; if you have fewer children they're more valuable to you because you have no other chance. You probably had problems just having that one child to take the chance again. And also people have fewer siblings than they used to, and the thing about siblings is they keep you in your place. I mean, obviously that can get out of hand, like with the Story of Cain and Abel.
