Born on May 14th, 1994, Jonathan grew up in Clarkston/Lake Orion Michigan. Raised by his parents Suzanne D'Ambrosio and Joseph D'Ambrosio, Jonathan was not brought up in the entertainment industry so to speak. His mother, an active Percussionist/Band Director, and his father, an Engineer working for General Motors. He has three siblings, Thomas D'Ambrosio(Eldest), Rosemary D'Ambrosio(Third Eldest), and Maria D'Ambrosio(Youngest). As the middle child, Jonathan was the first of his family to show an interest in film. From age 4 Jonathan would run around with his fathers VHS tape camera and make stop motion animation with his action figures & GI Joe's. Spending most of his time alone or making VHS movies with his brother Thomas, Jonathan spent most of his childhood close to his imagination, and not so much in his school books. By 9th Grade D'Ambrosio had already won a national award for a short film he made entirely by himself in the sand dunes of Michigan. Throughout his High School career Jonathan would go on to win over 70 awards with nearly 40 amateur short films, including a short that was hand picked by J.J. Abrams for the "Super 8 Film Contest" as the Grand Prize Winner. After just barely graduating 12 years of schooling, Jonathan had no intention of spending more time with traditional eduction. He immediately attended The Motion Picture Institute of Michigan where he studied Directing, Writing, & Cinematography. While enrolled Jonathan made four films of his own, each has gone on to win various awards internationally. Officially out of school Jonathan pursues a career as an Actor, Writer, & Director.
