Jonathan Blaine Shore is a South African screen and stage actor, dancer and voice-artist. He studied a Bachelor of Arts in Performance at AFDA Johannesburg, where he graduated on the Dean's List with Distinction, achieving Cum Laude in the Screen and Stage disciplines, and going on to win the Undergraduate Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. In the professional sphere, Jonathan began his career as a child actor, in lead roles at the People's Theatre, and has since appeared in numerous theatre productions around Johannesburg, including Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, and Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot. Jonathan also formed part of the main cast of A Seussified Christmas Carol at the National Children's Theatre, a production that would go on to be nominated for a Naledi Theatre Award in 2018 for Best Production for Children, and in the lead role of 'The Beast' in the People's Theatre Production of Beauty and the Beast in 2018.On screen, Jonathan appeared in the 2013 international feature film Kite, as well as appearances on the BBC series Leonardo in 2011, YOTV: Act One in 2014, and Those Who Can't Season 2 in 2015. In 2017, he went on to play the recurring role of George Giannopoulos in the SABC 3 series Bedford Wives, as well as Terence on the SABC 3 sitcom Taryn & Sharon. He can most recently be seen in the roles of 'Richard Michaels' in the local South African drama series Grassroots, as well as in international series' as 'Zed' in Professionals (2019) and 'Randall' in the second season of Warrior (2020).
