Jonah Larrama was born in San Salvador, El Salvador. The son of judge Luis Larrama and secretary Ana Larrama. Since a young age, Jonah was a troublemaker with a vision in life to only make music. Feeling a lack of interest in his high school education, Jonah dropped out of school. At the age of 20 he moved to Oakland, California where his Aunt and Uncle live. One day, when he got fired from his job as a dishwasher, Jonah felt the strong need to experience another way of life. He left all his possessions to live on the streets of Berkeley and San Francisco where he played his guitar to get by. He rapidly gained the reputation of the vegan and sober street kid as he always denied any type of substances. Wandering all over the U.S., and traveling on freight trains, Jonah arrived to New York City where he continued sleeping in abandoned buildings, and artist houses in Brooklyn.Jonah started doing extra work in New York City to make money in addition to playing music on the subway to support himself. This led him to getting small parts in independent movies where he found his love of acting. He worked hard to find stability and saved enough money to take acting classes at the Stella Adler Institute for Acting in New York city as well as Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute. Jonah continues to be involved in the underground arts and music scene and is highly dedicated to his career in Acting.
