Jon Baggaley has acted/directed in British and N. American media since the early '70s. His 200+ credits include film and television, musical theatre and opera, radio drama, and regular work as a film voice-over artist. Baggaley is the author/editor of 20 books and over 200 articles about TV communication. His publications have appeared in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish translations. He is Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and a regular consultant on media to governments and broadcasting organizations in the USA and Caribbean, Canada, Africa, Asia, and Europe. As an authority on communications media, he has served as an expert witness, newspaper columnist, international speaker, and frequent TV/radio guest. In 1995-96, Baggaley and his wife, writer 'Sheila E. James' worked on the revival in Ukraine and Russia of the multimedia 'film train' tradition of agitprop, by which actors, musicians, singers, and teachers bring cultural and educational programs by train to urban and rural communities across the former Soviet Union. Since 2003, they have lived and worked across Europe and Asia, and Baggaley has concentrated on writing and presenting educational television for use in international training. Show less «
