John Tate was born on January 5, 1915 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia as John Paul Tate. He was an actor, known for On the Beach (1959), The Day of the Triffids (1963) and Dynasty (1969). He was married to Margaret Anne Barton and Neva Carr-Glynn. He died on March 19, 1979 in Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight, England.
