John Power was born on November 20, 1930 in Maitland, New South Wales, Australia as John Beresford Power. He was a director and writer, known for The Tommyknockers (1993), The Picture Show Man (1977) and All the Rivers Run (1983). He was married to Priscilla Tambone and Janice (Jan) Kenny. He died in February 2016 in New South Wales.
