Graduated magna cum laude from Kent State in 1974 with a degree in telecommuncations and journalism. Worked in Kansas City for 3 years prior to 20 years in Boston. Won 8 Emmy awards for broadcast excellence in Boston. Owns and operates a consulting business called MediaWise in which he coaches athletes in dealing with the media.
