John B Woods is an American actor who was born and raised in Indio, California. John is the son of Louisa Woods, an educator, and Johnnie Woods Jr., a law enforcement officer, and Vietnam war veteran. John grew up the eldest of two children (one younger sister now deceased.) He actively began pursuing acting in 2016. After a conversation one Thanksgiving Day with an actress friend, his new career would be sparked. She commented on his unique voice which lead them to discuss voice over training. John was advised to seek training. This exchange of helpful info was instrumental in guiding him into the field acting by way of voice over training.While attending a voice over training class in Burbank a friend tagged him in a Facebook post for an audition for the feature film 'Do It Or Die' (2017) He decided to go for it and landed the role with a cold-read audition.
