John Andrew Giordano, was born January 22nd, 1983 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Son of two south-Philly natives; John Albert Giordano (commercial photographer) and Francine Aragona (hair-stylist), an Italian-American passion and artistic-flare was present from birth. After graduating from Eastern Highschool (Voorhees, NJ, 2001) John began studying the craft of acting at Mike Lemmon Studio, Philadelphia and Mary Anne Claro Talent Agency, south-Philly. John caught the "acting bug" and acquired his first acting job in a dinner-theater show titled, "Joey and Maria's Wedding". Here, John learned the art of improvisation and quickly climbed the ladder to the starring role, "Joey". In 2005, John took a break from his college career, (Temple University, Philadelphia) to drive cross-country to Los Angeles. After a year of settling in, John took to the LA actor-lifestyle and began studying method-acting by day, (The Lee Strasberg Institute West, Anne DeSalvo) while serving sushi to celebrity-clientele by night. John continued his love of the theater and landed a role in North Hollywood's theater district, (The Lonny Chapman Group Repertory Theater) in a main-stage play ("Over the River and Through the Woods", Joe DiPietro). John won the lead role of "Nicholas Christano", an Italian-American young-man with a family-crisis and a heart-of-gold. Through the duration of the run, John would make audiences belly-laugh and shed tears-of-joy. With a new-found respect for his craft, John set his sights on film-acting. In 2007, John landed his first role in an independent feature comedy, ('Skid Marks', 2007). In 2008, John starred in an independent short ('The Bridge', 2008) which went on to win 2 Merit Awards and a Festival Winner Award (Young Cuts Film Festival, 2009). John played the role of Private Benjamin, a deeply disturbed soldier in World War 2, who comes to terms with his prejudices. In 2009, John starred in the controversial dark-comedy feature, (Night Before the Wedding, 2009). John embodied, "Bobby DeMayo", a lovable alcoholic, who wears his heart on his sleeve. John's portrayal of this character was regarded as complex, with much depth, and outstanding among an ensemble-cast of bachelors. Over the next two years John would accumulate credits in various independent films and commercials. In 2011, John returned to his roots in Philadelphia. Upon his return, John booked a national commercial (Radio Shack, 2013) and shortly after landed the role of "Jordan Belfort" in (Discovery ID, 'Young Hot and Crooked', Episode: "The Real Wolf of Wall Street", 2014). In 2015, it occurred to John to diversify, so he enrolled in film school (Pace University, Financial District, Manhattan) where he acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Screen Studies. Here, John studied; history-of-film, production and screen-writing. Nearing graduation, John decided to put his education to work. John wrote his very own feature-length screen-play ('Tiger Lil'), the life-story of Lillian Reis; a professional show-girl turned criminal and unofficial mob-member. In 2018, John put finishing touches on 'Tiger Lil' with plans to shop for production.
