Joel Grizzle was born March 15th 1991 Erdington, Birmingham. The second youngest of four children to Claudette Grizzle and Milton Grizzle both from a Jamaican background. Joel had always been battling with what he wanted to do in life and it wasn't until he performed in a church play that he decided that he want to be an actor. After leaving school with low grades Joel was able to get on to the drama course that he longed for in college. On completion of his three years at college Joel was accepted onto a three year course in Acting & Stage Combat at East 15 School of Acting. During his time on the course he received high intense day to day acting training, he was also able to become a specialist in swordplay and unarmed combat across theatre and film. Joel has been in a high number of short films acting in most and in some being the fight coordinator, His first one man play in the London Short Play Festival (The Fallen Apple) and was delighted to be apart of 'Urban Decay' and work alongside the amazing team.
