Joseph Michael Phillips was born in Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom. Throughout his life he has been introduced to many different cultures, mainly arts. He started acting at a young age while he was still living in England where he attended school at Egerton Rothesay in Hertfordshire, U.K. Although he enjoyed studying drama he put his studies in acting on hold due to the constant moving around and decided to focus on a traditional school education, first.His family moved him over to the U.S during his early teens. While in the U.S, Joe attended school in Hopkinton, MA, a small town outside Boston. He eventually went on to attended university in West Hartford, CT. He then graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts focusing in Photography and Graphic Design. After graduation he wanted to keep his artistic mind active, with a more physical form of art, acting.Since graduating from university he returned to his studies of drama, this time in Hartford, CT and Boston, MA with some local instructors.After a recommendation from a fellow friend and actress he landed his first role in 2012's The Muse. Even though it was a small role he was very happy to have been offered a chance to be in an actual motion picture for the first time in his life.Later the same year, Joe became one of seven leads in the horror film, Night Aboard the Salem. A film about 7 paranormal investigators set out to encounter some sort of paranormal activity on a haunted tourist attraction. Until they discover that their little investigation has entered them into a world they could never ever imagined.
