JJ Batteast is a humble kid with a huge personality! He is the only boy leaving no choice to be a ladies' man in the near future! JJ has always wanted to pursue acting since age 3 when his mom began taking him to several auditions that ended up leading nowhere except for asking for several thousands of dollars just to get him on popular TV shows until one day when his mom woke him up one morning after hearing about auditions for Disney The Lion King! Needless to say God blessed this Chicago kid with the star role of young Simba where he toured with the cast from January 2015 until August of 2015! He then went to Broadway after that for as an understudy for a short while. Shortly after returning home he auditioned for Mr. Berry Gordy himself where he then landed a role in Motown the Musical as young Michael Jackson, Berry Gordy and Stevie Wonder. He toured with the cast from January 2015 and also received his Broadway credit with this outstanding cast when he made his Broadway debut in July of 2015!JJ is destined for greatness! He has recently worked with Katheryn Bigelow in The Untitled Detroit Project and now has two film credits! He is praying and looking forward to being on Disney and Nickelodeon television shows as well as starring in movie roles with some of the best actors and directors in the industry!
