Jivanta Roberts was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Florida. Coming from West Indian back ground Jivanta was always passionate about dance and heavily influenced by her culture. She attended Nu- Look Performing Company in Orlando, Florida where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, and African dance for over 12 years. Always having a passion for the arts, music and fashion, Jivanta attended Johnson & Wales University in Miami, Florida and graduated with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. During her sophomore year, she got one of her first major gigs as a dancer for the MLB Florida Marlins and was Co-Captain of the team in 2007/2008 year.Not letting anything hold her back, she quickly moved to the big apple, Nyc to pursue her career as a dancer and actress. Jivanta studied dance at Broadway Dance Center and acting at TVI Actors Studio NYC. Jivanta has toured the world and Since then Jivanta has appeared in major commercials and magazines like Hype Hair, Mass Appeal, and others. She has also been the face of Harlem 125 and Vanessa Hair line. Performed on shows many music award shows and major network television. Jivanta has worked with artist such as Beyonce, Shakira, Kanye West.Believes in following your dreams and never giving up!
